Supreme Court finding of professional misconduct
The Supreme Court of Tasmania found James Collingwood Kitto guilty of professional misconduct on 5 September 2019. Mr Kitto is a legal practitioner and Principal of James C Kitto Barrister & Solicitor.
In addition to a reprimand, His Honour Chief Justice Blow ordered Mr Kitto to pay a fine of $3,000.00 and that he undertake a course in professional ethics and professional responsibility.
