salary range $58,000 – $65,000 (plus superannuation)
The Legal Profession Board of Tasmania (the Board) is the independent statutory authority established by the Legal Profession Act 2007, for the regulation of the legal profession in Tasmania. A major part of the Board’s role is the investigating, hearing and mediating of complaints against legal practitioners in relation to unsatisfactory conduct and investigating and prosecuting legal practitioners in relation to professional misconduct. The Board is also responsible for monitoring and advising on standards of practice and conduct.
Under the general direction of the Manager Operations, the Board requires a professionally presented person to provide comprehensive, high level confidential administrative and secretarial support to facilitate the efficient work of the Board.
The successful applicant will have experience in the preparation of correspondence, executive papers and meeting minutes, together with demonstrated high level skills in maintaining electronic systems and data. Previous experience in a legal context will be highly regarded.
